Foreclosures can happen for a variety of reasons

Foreclosure and foreclosure by sale are two different ways of filing for a mortgage loan. The way a foreclosure works is that you lose your home by defaulting on the payments for a mortgage loan. The lender files a complaint for foreclosure against you, which is usually done through a process called non-judicial foreclosure. Foreclosures can happen for a variety of reasons. The most common reason that we will see is that there is a problem with a loan payment. The bank may have found out that someone has been making a lot of unauthorized payments or late payments.
