Complete Detail of CA Inter Syllabus for Nov 2023 exams

CA Inter’s new syllabus for 2023 for the November exam is released by the ICAI. Students can download the syllabus from the official website of ICAI under the BoS portal. The CA Inter syllabus has 08 subjects under Group 1 and Group 2. Before you begin your preparation for CA intermediate exam, you must go through the syllabus to know the topic covered. About The CA Inter Syllabus

Below we mention the Inter Syllabus for the 2023 exam. Students must be aware of the complete syllabus so that they prepare accordingly and score better in the CA Intermediate Result 2023

CA New Scheme

As per the proposed CA New Scheme, there will be 6 subjects instead of 8 for the CA Intermediate exams. A few papers are merged while others have been removed. The CA’s new scheme implementation will take place in May 2024. The subjects are as follows:

Group 1 Subjects:

Paper-2 Corporate Laws
Paper-3 Cost and Management Accounting

Group 2 Subjects:

CA Inter Group 1 syllabus-

Group 1 of the CA intermediate level has 04 subjects- accounts, law, tax, and cost management.

Paper 1- Accounting (100 marks)

Company Laws- 60 marks

Other Laws- 40 marks

Paper 3- Cost and Management Accounting (100 marks)

Paper 4- Taxation (100 marks)

Group 2 of the CA intermediate level has 04 subjects- advanced accounts, audit, EIS & SM, and FM & EF.

The CA Inter new syllabus 2023 for accounting is divided into 06 parts. Students need to prepare each of them to clear this paper. The objective of the subject is to make students learn how to apply accounting standards and legislation to events and transactions.
